Our Story
Whimsy Barn was born during the pandemic — the way most good things are born — out of necessity, a little chaos, and a promise to my husband that I would sell the 500 pieces of depression glass I’d bought from an auction house.
What started as a side hustle became something I never planned for. The glassware found new homes. The community found me. And somewhere in the middle of curating vintage mystery boxes and styling spaces for strangers on the internet, I realized something was happening that had nothing to do with vintage goods.
Women were finding permission.
Permission to care about their homes. Permission to choose beauty. Permission to build something — even something small — that was entirely theirs.
That’s what Whimsy Barn became. Not just a vintage shop. A place where women who love beautiful things start to remember that they are capable of more than they’ve been living.
What We Do
We curate vintage goods — individual decor pieces, styled mystery boxes, and subscription boxes — for women who want their spaces to feel like them. Not perfect. Not Pinterest. Theirs.

But the goods were never really the point.
The point is what happens when a woman walks into a space that finally feels like her. She stands a little taller. She trusts herself a little more. And something that was almost living starts to actually live.

We believe everyone has value and everyone matters. We believe in working the plan to grow toward your vision and in responding to the unexpected opportunities life presents. We believe in sustainable resources and that just about anything can be repurposed. We believe in doing the best we can with what we have.
